Athletic Season Pass

The School Districts of Elmwood and Plum City want to work together with the community to make interscholastic sports a fun and exciting time in a child’s life!  As always, we want to encourage you to come to our athletic events as much as possible.  Our student athletes need and enjoy your support.  Athletic events would not be the same without our spectators and fans!

WHILE ATTENDING THE EVENTS, PLEASE REMEMER THE FOLLOWING:

  • PARTICIPATION:  Students who are involved in our athletic programs are expected to practice and participate on a regular basis.  Please keep in mind that the philosophy of our middle school athletic programs is to focus on skill building and participation for everyone, not necessarily winning.  For some students, it is their very first experience with interscholastic athletics.  We want it to be a positive one.
  • SPORTSMANSHIP:  People attending our athletic events are expected to display good sportsmanship at all times.  We look to the adults, such as our coaches, parents, and other community members to model appropriate behavior and language to our students.  Our students are also expected to be good sports both on the playing field and in the bleachers.  Actions speak louder than words and positive actions demonstrate a winning attitude.  Revealing a competitive side is totally acceptable when it is displayed with appropriate sportsmanship as well.  At all levels of play, our athletic programs shall continue to support good citizenship and provide opportunities for life-long friendships.  Everyone that is associated with our athletic programs is expected to act responsibly and in a way that is a credit to self, to family, to school, and to community.
  • OFFICIATING:  It can be very difficult to officiate athletics at any level of skill, but especially so at the Varsity level.  Officials must use their own judgment in calling the games and setting the overall tone of the event.  Please show respect for their judgment.  Thank you.
  • ATHLETIC HANDBOOK:  All parents and/or guardians as well as their student athletes were expected to read the athletic handbook and follow its contents.
  • SUPERVISORS:  School staff members are often asked to help supervise our after school and evening activities including our athletic events and concerts.  Parents as well as other community members can help our staff members by supervising their own children while in attendance.  This means following all school rules such as only bringing approved food and beverages into the gyms, properly disposing of all garbage in our trash receptacles, and demonstrating good sportsmanship.
